Shiatsu

What is Shiatsu?
SHIATSU is a form of finger-pression massage, which was developed in Japan.Within SHIATSU, there are combined the traditional knowledge from Chinese medicine and modern treating methods. The aim of SHIATSU massage is to foster the optimal effect of life's energy within the body, in Japanese called "Ki".Where Ki can flow free and unresisted, there you will find vitality and health. An unbalance in the energy system can result from permanent stagnation of life's energy flow. This is expressed with illness, pain and indisposition. SHIATSU can prevent this stagnation and as well help to overcome it. SHIATSU acquires the human being in its entireness - in unity with body, breath and spirit. The harmonic interaction of these three components is the central aspect of the SHIATSU's work. The goal is to reach the inner balance in order to be in line with this what is perceived to the outside. So, one knows SHIATSU as a preventative method in order to maintain vitality and health, and furthermore understands the way of better contact with one self.

This massage is really good I find. The first time I make it, I was a little sceptic. But now I am glad, that I know from Shiatsu.
